Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) under the leadership of Plateau state governor, Jonah Jang, yesterday condemned the twin bombings that rocked Jos, the capital of Plateau state, on Tuesday, where more than 100 people were reportedly killed.
The Forum, in a statement by its Administrator, Earl Osaro Onaiwu, described the bombings as “cowardly and designed to shake the faith of citizens in a united Nigeria.

The governors called on Nigerians to unite against the forces of evil as a united Nigeria, adding that “that is the only way the country will be impenetrable for the terrorists.”
They declared support for Governor Jang, stressing that the governors stand with him and the people of Plateau state “in this period of distress.”
The Forum condoled with the people of Plateau state and the families of those who lost their love ones in the attack.
