I find it so funny, that some northern governors then under the same political platform with President Goodluck Jonathan and who assiduously worked for his emergence as the flag-bearer of their then party(PDP) and worked round the clock to see his success at the polls by getting him the constitutional 25% required for votes spread across the whole states in the federation before being declared as the President-elect are now crying for his head.
It is a well-known fact, some of these governors singing a different tone were the ones, who vociferously challenged the opponents of President Jonathan when he wanted to become the candidate of the party for the 2011 election.
Going down memory lane, one can vividly recall the role played by some of these governors like Murtala Nyako, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Rotimi Amaechi in their respective states towards the actualization of the dream of Jonathan.
In the hey days of togetherness, these governors, especially the two from the northern flank, saw good in everything the President did. But now it seems they are seeing bad in whatever he did or does, simply because of some irreconcilable differences emanating from the struggle for 2015 elections, just around the corner.
It is wrong for these governors to now dance naked in the market square because they perceive the sensitivity of the people so docile. They now see the Jonathan presidency as albatross to the north and its people. T
Whatever the Jonathan presidency is doing which to them is shortchanging the north, they are to blame.
