National Coordinator, Mass Movement for Buhari (MMB), Dr. Kenneth Ibe-Kalu, has called on Nigerians to support the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (rtd), because the incumbent president and presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan is leading Nigeria into the Golgotha instead of the Promised Land.”

Ibe-Kalu, who said he was a staunch member of the Mass Movement for Jonathan, MMJ until 2013 and former Director General of the Forum of Former Deputy Governors of Nigeria, said in statement that he quit PDP and the movement when he discovered that Jonathan did not mean well for Nigerians, especially the people of the South-east.

He said: “Jonathan was clueless and lacked vision of how to move Nigeria forward and this prompted him and some of his friends to kiss goodbye to anything that has to do with President Jonathan.
“For 13 months we realised that we were on a wrong journey and in the wrong direction.  The people we were campaigning for were inaccessible.”
Ibe-Kalu said with zeal they were able to work for Jonathan for 13 months and that over 3.6 million people were joining the band-wagon of Mass Movement for Jonathan, MMJ and also that they created 13 chapters in other countries of the world to the extent that some group in Australia had to donate an aircraft in support of the movement until they discovered the futility of the mission.
“Leadership is all about accessibility. How can you tell the leaders that this is what and what we want when we cannot access our leaders? When you are working for a leadership, you should be honoured and respected.”
The national coordinator who expressed displeasure over activities of the president and the ruling party, the PDP, said “they steal intellectual property and would not reward the originator.”
“They steal a lot of intellectual property. You bring a programme, they will not accept it or pretend to ignore it but will begin to implement it. When they say that the President is clueless, they are right.”
