Join us make Adamawa work again, Fintiri begs traditional rulers

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa state has presented a First Class staff of office to the paramount traditional ruler of lunguda kingdom, His royal highness Gwandi  Nunguraya  kurhaye Dishon Dansanda 11, with a call on traditional rulers in the state to join hands with his administration to make Adamawa work again.

Speaking at the occassion in Guyuk, governor Fintiri promised to carry traditional rulers along in the process of governance, describing them as custodians of people’s cultures who have survived so many eras including colonialism.

The governor further task the newly promoted traditional ruler on the need to provide exemplary leadership that places emphasis on the promotion of ethnic, social and religious harmony among the people at all times.

Fintiri further reiterated the commitments of his administration to better the lots of the people of Adamawa through effective implementation his 11 points agenda.

He said government will maintain the momentum and be guided by the wishes and aspirations of the citizenry, adding that he will take tough decisions irrespective of the consequences in the overall interest of the state .

On his part, the new Gwandi Nunguraya  kurhaye Dishon Dansanda 11  commended the governor for fulfilling the will of the people and promised to re-awaken and sustain the ideals of the lunguda race.

He further called on lunguda sons and daughters to unite and build an egalitarian society noting that his door will always be open for good and that he is only a bridge for their collective aspirations.
