Jigawa Poly pledges improved staff welfare

The management of Jigawa state Polytechnic‎, Dutse has promised to improve the welfare of its staff and students for a better and qualitative education.
Speaking yesterday during its students of computer science association award on hard working staff, the Rector of the polytechnic, Dr.
Ali Abdu, represented by the registrar, Alhaji Ilyasu Husaini Jahun said the institution is committed to the training of its students on Computer Science.
He also said the Rector has promised that the leadership of the polytechnic is committed to providing all the necessary support to both staff and students for a better academic performance.
He added that the polytechnic provided an enabling environment for the staff to further their education as well as give scholarship to some members of staff and study both within the country and universities abroad.
‎Jahun maintained that, the school management provided all the basic needs that would improve welfare of its students.
Also, the registrar commended the association for organizing the yearly event, which according to him, boost the morale of the hardworking members of staff of the institution.
