Jigawa PDP guber candidate seeks royal fathers’ blessing


 

The gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Jigawa, Alhaji Mustapha Sule Lamido, has embarked on visiting traditional rulers to seek their blessing.

In Hadejia, at the palace of the chairman, Council of Chiefs, Dr Adamu Abubakar Maje, Mustapha Lamido solicited for his fatherly blessing and prayers for success.

Alhaji Lamido who is the Santurakin Dutse, thanked God the Almighty for making Jigawa a united and peaceful state in Nigeria.

He assured the emir that, he would remain faithful, responsible and dedicated child of Jigawa state, wherever he was   and whatever position he occupies. 

He reaffirmed that if elected governor, PDP leadership would continue to remain loyal, obedient and supportive to the royal circle.

The emir of Hadejia, Dr Maje advised Alhaji  Lamido and other party candidates to be submissive to the Almighty God.

The emir urged citizens of the state to obtain the Permanent Voters Card and pray for the peaceful conduct of the 2023 general elections.
