‘JICCIMA to boost commercial activities in Dutse’

The Jigawa state Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (JICCIMA) has pledged to encourage commercial activities in Dutse and boost economic growth of the state.

JICCIMA made the pledge at the inauguration of its 6th executive members over the weekend.

At the inauguration ceremony held at Man Power Development Institute Dutse, president, Nigeria Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), Hajiya Saratu Aliyu, represented by Alhaji Ahmad Rabi`u, said the aim was to make Dutse a commercial centre.

He, therefore, called on the new executives to work hard and contribute their quota towards developing and improving the commercial activities in Jigawa state generally.

He said NACCIMA was always ready to give the necessary needed support to the members at state level for a better reward and fruitful ventures in the state.

In his acceptance speech, the new JICCIMA chairman,  Alhaji Mukhtar Muhammad Birniwa, promised to carry all members along  in order to move the chamber and the state forward.

The state Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Alhaji Salisu Zakar, said the state government had set aside huge amount of money to improve business activities in the state.‎

Other executive members include  Yahaya Ibrahim, vice chairman one and Mahmud Maigari as vice chairman two, respectively.
