Islamic science school debuts in Abuja

An Islamic school focused on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education with the primary aim of balancing Islamic and Western education has debuted in the nation’s capital, Abuja, 

A press statement by Board of Directors of the school and signed by Hajia Amina Abubakar stated that the school, At-Tarbiyyah STEM School, was established to improve  student’s learning in science and technology.

It read in part: “We are the first Islamic faith-based secondary school in Abuja to focus on the areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education.

“Our goal is to produce problem solvers, innovators and pace setters in the world of science and technology.” 

She called on parents and guardians desirous of giving their children and wards balanced education in religion and science  to enroll them at At-Tarbiyyah school located at Plot 1270, Katampe District Abuja.

The board pledged that the school would offer an ideal secondary education as well as inculcate strong moral values in the students.
