After months of intensive planning and wide consultations, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has approved the conduct of inconclusive elections in Rivers, Lagos and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
A statement by the Secretary of the Commission, Mrs Augusta Ogakwu, yesterday stated that the Lagos House of Representative election takes place on Saturday, December 3, 2016, while FCT Councillorship election will hold on Saturday, December 3, 2016.
The Rivers’ National Assembly (Senate and House of Representatives) and House of Assembly elections have been scheduled by the commission to take place on Saturday, December 10, 2016.
