In Ebonyi, incumbent returns to Reps with over 24,000 votes 

The member representing Afikpo North/South federal constituency, Ebonyi state in the House of Representatives, Hon. Iduma Igariwey has won his third term bid to the National Assembly with the total of 24,649 votes.

He defeated his All Progressives Congress (APC) rival, Eni Uduma Chima, who is the immediate past chairman of Afikpo South local government area.

Igariwey is serving PDP lawmaker, he is the Vice Chairman, House Committee on Appropriation.

Announcing the result at the constituency headquarters in Afikpo, Afikpo North, the by INEC collation officer Charles Okolie said Idu polled a total of 24,649 votes while Chima got 11,296 votes.
