The Information unit of the Imo State Universal Basic Education Board (IMSUBEB) in Owerri has been upgraded for efficient dissemination of information and liaison with the general public.
The Chairman, of the agency, Mrs Gertrude Oduka, disclosed this when news correspondents visited the headquarters of the organization recently, on a courtesy call.
The chairman also informed the media that a website has been opened and that the public can also communicate with the board on facebook. He added that an official vehicle for the director of the Unit, a public address system and video cameras have all been procured to beef up the information unit.
With the upgrading, the chairman assured on the readiness of IMSUBEB to host the April, 2014 meeting of the national universal basic education board meeting to be hosted by Imo state.
