I’m in Oyo governorship election to win – Adelabu

The gubernatorial candidate of the Accord in Oyo state and  former deputy governor, Operations of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Chief Adebayo Adelabu ,has  said he is  contesting to win the gubernatorial election in the state come March 11, 2023.

Chief Adelabu in a statement Saturday by the Bayo Adelabu

Campaign Organisation (BACO) debunked rumour of his withdrawal from the gubernatorial race.

The Accord governorship candidate said the rumour of his withdrawal was another game plan by “political desperados determined to keep Oyo in a web of lies and ineptitude.”

Chief Adelabu stated that  the upsurge in misinformation, malignment, and outright fake news against him within the few days to the guber election was a testament to the acceptance of his message of awakening to the electorate.

“We want to inform the good people of Oyo state that there was no time Chief Adelabu held any meetings with any candidates or political parties with a view to stepping down. This was another lie from a political schizophrenic, whose political career was built on falsehood and manipulations,” he said.
