I’m committed to peace in Kuje– Chairman

Kuje Area Council Chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Danladi Galadima, has reaffirmed  his commitment to peace and coexistence of all ethnic groups in the area, saying Nigeria’s 57th independence passed quietly in the Federal Capital Territory  (FCT) without ugly incidents.

Galadima reassured residents that the unity of the country would continue to wax stronger in spite of the efforts of detractors to divert attention.

Galadima said that the current challenges facing the nation and the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration were surmountable, urging the people to continue to support the government and distance themselves from actions and speeches that are capable of destroying the country’s peaceful coexistence.

The chairman, in a statement he personally signed, assured residents in a that his administration would not relent in its resolve to guarantee the safety of lives and properties.

Galadima congratulated Nigerians and PresidentMuhammadu Buhari for the successful celebration of the 57th independence anniversary and the relentless efforts of the APC administration to take Nigeria out of recession and improve the security of the nation.

He also praised the effort and patience of council workers, especially for their understanding, even in the face of unpaid salary arrears, and restated the commitment of his administration to quicken the payment of arrears of salaries and allowances as soon as the revenue improves.
