Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of Kano  state has vowed to be in the forefront among legislators that would be influencing good educational policies when General Muhammadu Buhari assumed the mantle of leadership.
Assuring that the good work done to education in Kano under his stewardship was enough a reason to let Nigerians be aware that developing education at all levels was inbuilt in him.

“My administration believes in educational development that is why a greater percentage of our budget since we came in goes to education. We are grateful to God that we are leaving behind a productive population not parasitic one.”

He made this known recently at the commissioning of projects at Saadatu Rimi College of Education, Kumbotso, Kano, assuring further that the in-coming administration in the state would continue with the good work his regime was doing.
Kwankwaso added that knowing how serious Buhari was in the area of education he would work hand in hand with him to take the country to greater height.
Earlier, in his speech, the Provost of the College, Dr Sule Musa, disclosed that the Chairman Board of Trustees of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), Dr Musa Babayo, was honoured by the college by naming the newly constructed state-of-the-art college library after his name.
