Ikpeazu emerges PDP Govs’ Forum vice chair

The governor of Abia state, Okezie Ikpeazu has emerged Vice-Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors’ Forum.

Chairman of the Forum and governor of Sokoto state, Aminu Tambuwal, disclosed this when he briefed journalists, Wednesday after a meeting with members of the party National Working Committee (NWC) at Sokoto governors lodge, Asokoro, Abuja.

He said “This meeting was to discuss issues that will help move our  party forward. We also took advantage of this meeting to unanimously appoint our colleague governor of Abia state, Okezie Ikpeazu as the vice-chairman of the Forum.

Those that attended were governor of Akwa Ibom state, Udom Emmanuel; Bayelsa, Duoye Diri; Delta, Ifeanyi Okowa; Bauchi, Bala Mohammed; Taraba, Dairus Ishiaku, and Adamawa, Adamu Fintiri.

Meanwhile, the party has also called for an emergency meeting, scheduled to hold today at the party headquarters in Abuja.
