Nigerian international, Nosa Igiebor, debuted for Maccabi Tel Aviv Wednesday night in a 1 – 0 loss to Maribor in a UEFA Champions League third round qualifying tie.
Midfielder Igiebor has only made a switch from relegated Spanish team Real Betis to Israel.
He started the game and lasted for 58 minutes before he was replaced by Dan Einbinder.
The midfielder is not new to Israel as he played for Hapoel Tel Aviv previously.
