Ighalo set to open orphanage home

Super Eagles striker, Jude Odion Ighalo has finalised plans to launch his orphanage home, “Ighalo Orphanage Home” in Lagos next month.
The state of the art home will be open on December 16th in Lagos
He revealed this during a press conference in Ajah on Tuesday. Some notable guests in attendance at the ceremony include ex-Super Eagles stars and coaches like Samson Siasia, Austin Eguavoen, Peter Rufai etc.
As a child who grew up in the suburbs of Ajegunle, Ighalo has never hidden his commitment to give back to the less privileged and the society at large. For him, providing a platform and opportunity for others to thrive is the major motivating factor in his charity work.
Apart from his orphanage, the Changchun Yatai of China striker also got involved in the #1Girl1Pen girl child education campaign where he paid full scholarship for 5 school girls.
