Idi Ali-led Yola NBA pledges professionalism, integrity  

The Yola branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has inaugurated its newly elected executives to run the affairs of the association.

The inauguration followed the election, which brought the tenure of Barr Hassan Maidawa-led team to an end.

Performing the inauguration, Tuesday, the state Chief Judge, Justice Hafsat Abdulraham, congratulated the new executives for their victory and charged them to uphold the virtues of diligence and integrity in all their responsibilities.

The CJ expressed optimism in the ability of the new executives to move the association forward, and charged members to always comply with internationally accepted best standards in the discharge of their duties, while assuring them of her support and that of the entire judiciary at all times.

The CJ further lauded the existing cordial relationship between the Bar and the Bench in the state, and urged the new executives to sustain this relationship and build upon the foundation and legacies laid by the out gone team.

The new chairman, Barr. Idi Ali, thanked members of the association for the confidence reposed on them and assured of their commitment to repositioning the association for the betterment of all.

He promised to unite members of the association, carry everyone along in the discharge of their responsibilities and pilot the affairs of the association with high level of transparency, honesty, accountability and fear of God in tandem with the collective interest and vision of the association.

According to him, the welfare of the members would be given top priority in their agenda.
