I started my music career from Church – Boyebest

A rising musician, Adeyinka Adeboye, also known as Boyebest weekend disclosed that he started his music journey from the Church.

Speaking with journalists in Ibadan, Boyebest also hinted his intention to float a radio station.

He said he is working to realise his dream as well as actualizing his vision in the nearest future.

According to Adeboye, his music career started as a choir member in African Church Ita Olori Abeokuta at age 18.

“I already gathered my band men at the Age of 19, because I happened to be one of the best vocalists at my church then and I know how to play bass guitar a little bit. I also became a music consultant to some private schools”, he said.

About his role models, Boyebest stressed that late Olubukola Olomola (Babaara), King Sunny Ade, Sunny Melody UK, Wonderboy, Solek UK are his mentor in the music industry.

Commenting on his vision, Boyebest declared that he would be having a radio station to promote his brand of music and that of others.

” I see myself having my Music Studio or a radio station that will cut across some states in the South West part of the country starting from my home town Abeokuta and to connect more with a much more better fan base all over the world in the course of my performances around the globe”.

Boyebest studied Banking and Finance at the Federal Polytechnic Ilaro before proceeding to University of Ibadan for his Bsc in Music.”
