I remain loyal to APC – Odubu

A former deputy governor of Edo State and a governorship aspirant on the All Progressives Congress (APC) platform,  Dr. Pius Odubu, Tuesday dispelled speculations that he planned to defect to opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In fact,  Odudu didn’t mince words by saying, “I remain a loyal party man and as such nothing on earth will warrant my leaving the party.”
In a statement issued by his campaign organisation, Odubu  said, “Ordinarily, we will not pay attention to such fake news being a propaganda.

“If Pius Odubu could not leave the party in 2016, is it now that he has help nurture the party to an enviable position that he will leave, have you seen where landlord abandoned his house for tenants.
“Odubu remain committed to the party, both in the state and national levels, same way he is committed to the leadership of Comrade Adams Oshiomhole anytime, any day.”

The statement further said,  “Wherever Comrade Adams Oshiomhole remain, there Dr. Pius Odubu stand. No amount of blackmail will change his stance on the leadership of Edo state APC as led by Col. David Imuse and the National Chairman of the party, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.
“We advise that you people should stop misinforming the general public and focus on things that will help better the life of our Edo State citizens.”
