Hezekiah varsity chancellor harps on Nigeria’s unity

The Chancellor, Hezekiah University, Umudi, Imo state, Prof. Daddy Hezekiah, has stressed the need for Nigerians irrespective of religious and cultural differences to entrench the spirit of love and oneness for the development of the country.
Hezekiah, who is also the leader of Living Christ Mission Inc. Worldwide, stated this yesterday in the build-up to his 50th anniversary celebration slated for the weekend in Abuja.
According to him, the time has come for every Nigerian to put the country first in the scheme of things before any other primordial sentiment.
He observed that for the country to achieve socio-economic and political greatness, it is imperative for the citizenry to support government at all levels, stressing that government should also provide the enabling environment for development.
Meanwhile, prominent personalities expected to grace the occasion include Nigeria’s Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, former Presidents, Olusegun Obasanjo, Goodluck Jonathan and former Head of State, Yakubu Gowon.
Others dignitaries slated to honour the event are President of the Central African Republic, Faustin-Archange Touadera, Zambia’s President, Edgar Lungu, Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ona of Abaji, Dr. Adamu Yunusa and Chairman, Igbo Traditional Rulers in Diaspora, Eze Ibe Nwosu.
Also expected to grace the occasion are the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Malam Muhammad Musa Bello, captains of industries and members of the Diplomatic community.
