Heavyweight clash: Fury calls out Khan

Tyson Fury has joked he will fight Amir Khan next – but the Bolton boxer doesn’t fancy it.

The Gypsy King, 30, joked Khan was “moving up to heavyweight” after Deontay Wilder snubbed the chance to take him on after their controversial draw last year.

Fury suggested Sefer Seferi could be in line for a rematch though, as his next fight.

The Brit star claimed: “Amir Khan, yeah I think I’m fighting Amir Khan, he’s moving up to heavyweight.

“Do you know what? I might give Sefer Seferi a rematch. He was a nice guy and he got injured in his last fight so might give him a rematch.”

But Khan himself hit back by hilariously saying: “I find that quite strange really. I don’t want to be in the ring with Tyson Fury, he’s huge compared to me.

“Maybe he’s trying to say that maybe I’m looking big, I’m looking strong.

“I don’t know why he would mentioned my name. Maybe he knows that I’ve got a big fight coming up. I don’t know, I need to ask him.”

“I’m looking to fight whenever, I’m ready, I’m ready now, we’re going to make it happen, whatever fight happens, happens, heavyweight boxing – plenty of fights out there.

“I ain’t dancing to nobody’s fiddle, Deontay Wilder’s been offered a fight to fight me on ESPN and he’s turned it down, so his a**e is twitching.”
