Hardship: Tinubu’s reforms ongoing, NPC begs Nigerians

The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Press Council (NPC), Dr. Dili Ezughah, has said that reforms under the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu which include: local government autonomy, deregulation of oil refinery and the downstream oil sector are ongoing .

According to him, other reforms are: currency flotation, students loan scheme; and the quiet but aggressive curtailment of insurgency and banditry.

The Head, Protocols/ Public Relations, Mrs. Chinyere Facah, in a press release issued on Friday said Dr. Ezughah stated this during a Live programme on the Nigerian Television Authority, NTA, and also urged Nigerians to be patient with the Tinubu administration.

The Executive Secretary said Tinubu’s Eight Point Agenda policies were designed to revamp the economy, observing that they were already working.

He expressed optimism that the storm would soon be over. “Let’s not allow the pangs of hunger and anger to stop us from seeing when the storm is over”, he added.

Dr. Ezughah said President Tinubu needed the support of course Nigerian to realize the noble intentions of his Renewed Hope Agenda.
