Report from the ancient city of Kano indicate that heavily armed security personnel are now occupying the Emir of Kano’s palace in Kofar Kudu.
The personnel, Blueprint gathered are mostly police officers and Operatives of Department Security Services (DSS).
It was gathered that Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II was scheduled to accompany the newly appointed Wamban Kano, Munir Sanusi, to his official district posting in Bichi before the situation erupted.
Security authorities were yet to comment on the development as at the time of filling this report.
