Professor Abubakar Abdulrasheed has formally handed over the affairs of the National Universities Commision (NUC) to Mr Chris Maiyaki, who will be directing the affairs of the Commission in acting capicity.
The ceremony is ongoing in Abuja in the auditorium of the Commission.
Prof. Abdulrahsheed had resigned few days ago and announced that he would return to teach at the classroom.
Maiyaki had been deputy executive secretary of NUC.
