Hajj 2023: First batch of Nigerians depart Saudi Arabia for Nigeria

A Saudi Arabia based airline, FlyNas, has departed Jeddah, Saudi Arabia with the first batch of Nigerians that performed the 2023 hajj.

FlyNas with registration number XY7402 departed Jeddah to Sokoto at 1:55 pm with 426 Sokoto pilgrims and one official.

Blueprint reports that the return flight for the 94, 987 will end on August 3.

National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) head of Aviation, Goni Sanda, recently stated that, “By our calculation, most officials will spend nothing more than 45 days in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to ensure smooth return of Nigerians home.”
