Hajj 2018: Nigerian pilgrims get value for money

In fulfillment of a promise made, the 2018 Hajj is turning out to be a success story for the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria.
Upon his appointment as Chairman of NAHCON Barrister Abdullahi Mukhtar Muhammad pledged to work assiduously to ensure that only the best services were provided to Nigerian Pilgrims throughout the period of Hajj.
To achieve that goal, NAHCON chairman established an elaborate and efficient operations system and network of teams and tasked the officers to make the 2018 Hajj not just different but memorable.
The teams hit the ground running.
Their core mandate was to make the experience of all pilgrims taking part in the 2018 Hajj better than they ever had in previous years, through world class services.
Each and every pilgrim was to receive only the very best.
NAHCON has done a great job in organising the schedules for departures, accommodation, and feeding of pilgrims in Madinah.
Indeed NAHCON has done a great job period! The credit by no small measure goes to the Chairman for skilfully appointing officials who do not compromise but work diligently day and night, to provide efficient service to the pilgrims.
Pilgrims from FCT, Kaduna, Kano, Kwara and Nassarawa states who arrived in Madinah within the last week have had glowing stories to tell, like their counterparts from Kogi, the first to arrive but have since left for Makkah to continue their pilgrimage rites Some of the pilgrims who were interviewed expressed their gratitude to and satisfaction with the Commission for a job well done.
Everyone has been pleased that they have been accommodated close to the Masjid Al Nabawi, Prophet Muhammad’s Holy Mosque.
NAHCON Madinah coordinator and the acting Secretary to the commission Alhaji Ahmad Maigari, is also pleased and satisfied with the pilgrims for co-operating with the officials and sticking to the guidelines given to them.
