According to him, the miscreants besieged the town on about 30 motorcycles, numbering over 100, carrying weapons such as Ak47 riffles and cutlasses, explaining that about 10 of the bandits attacked his father in front of his house shortly after he observed Isha’i prayer and shoot him severally, which resulted to his death on the spot.

“Immediately they sighted my father, they told him directly that they had come to eliminate him and within a twinkle of eyes, they shot him on his chest and some other parts of his body; he asked them why and they could not answer him,” he stated.
He said many people got injured as a result of stampede from the bandits’ attack, adding that the bandits did not take any valuable items belong to their father during the attack.
He further stated that his father left behind four wives and 36 children, and appealed to the state and federal governments to deploy more security personnel to the state with a view to tackling security challenges occasioned by armed bandits and cattle rustlers in the area.
When contacted, the state Police Command Public Relations Officer, Sp.
