Group hails Tinubu for appointing Agada as Kadpoly chair

Youth Support Political Development in Nigeria (YSPDN) has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Dr Agada Augustine as chairman of the Governing Board of Kaduna Polytechnic.

In a press release at the weekend, President of YSPDN, Aliyu Idris, said assigning youths into key positions of service will accelerate the socio-economic and political development of the country.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on May 29, in his inaugural speech, pledged, among many things, to carry women and 30% youths along in his administration, saying that youths would feature prominently.

“President Tinubu is keeping his promise of appointing capable youths in government, and this will bring tremendous change for the country,” Comrade Aliyu stated.

“As an organisation that promotes youths political governance in regards to the Not Too Young To Run law, we are witnesses of the desire of this administration in providing good opportunities for the youths of Nigeria.

“President Tinubu appointed Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, who was born on May 1, 1982, as the Minister of Interior. Hannatu Musawa as Special Adviser on Culture and Entertainment Economy, Joseph Utsev, 43-year-old, appointed as the Minister of Water Resources and Sanitation, among others.

According, Dr. Agada deserves his appointment as the Council Chairman of Kaduna Polytechnic Board for his political and educational contributions to Nigeria.

“Dr. Agada aspired for Benue governorship seat in 2011 on the ACN platform and won the local government chairmanship seat in 2021 under APC. Agada s political strategies helped APC emerge victorious at the presidential level,” the YSPDN president said.

The organisation called on the young appointees in the Tinubu government to continue exhibiting good leadership qualities for the success of the Renewed Hope agenda.
