Group endorses Ikpeazu, 2 others for second term

A socio-,cultural group, Divine Mandate Organization, has endorsed Abia state governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, the Senator representing Abia Central, Theodore A Orji and Speaker, Abia House of Assembly, Rt Hon Chikwendu Kanu, for second term in 2019.
The group made this endorsement at Ikem Nvosi Primary School field, Isiala Ngwa South, yesterday during their one year Prayer Summit/Endorsement of three eminent politicians from Abia Central Senatorial zone.
Linus Ihemere, the state chairman of Divine Mandate for OVI/Ochendo, said its members unanimously agreed to endorse the incumbent Governor Ikpeazu, Senator Orji and the Speaker, Abia House of Assembly, Rt Hon Chikwendu Kanu, to return to their various duty posts come 2019.
Also, Ihemere commended their BoT chairman, Sir Gabriel Onyendilefu, for his immense support to the group and for distribution of empowerment items to the people during Christmas.
The group insists that the trio have given good account of themselves, therefore, should to continue in 2019 and noted that despite courts distraction Ikpeazu has delivered to the satisfaction of all Abians.
The group also lauded Senator Orji for his quality representation in the floor of the Senate and for putting smiles on the faces of his constituents through empowerment items, scholarship schemes and infrastructural developments.
Meanwhile, the BoT chairman, Sir Onyendilefu, has supported the endorsements of the trio noting that they have individually done well and therefore deserved second term tickets, respectively.
He however charged them to be steadfast in their commitment and support for good governance in Abia adding that Senator Ori has done well in the senate.
The Isiala Ngwa south born top government also extended free medical services to his people while promising to continue with this gesture assuring that Easter’s own will be better package than this one.
