Group buys admission forms for 100 orphans in Bauchi

As part of efforts to bring succour to the downtrodden members of the society, a

 

A Community Based Organisation (CBO) in Bauchi called ‘Save Bauchi State Organisation (SABSO) has bought 100 enrollment forms a select orphans and out-of-school children in parts of the state.

 

They are to be admitted into the newly commissioned Bauchi state orphans and vulnerable children agency nursery and primary school.

 

Chairman of the organisation Malam Zaharaddeen Baban Takko, who disclosed this in a press statement he issued yesterday, explained that the forms were given to the emir of Bauchi, Alhaji Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu,  for distribution.

 

” The forms were handed over to the emir of Bauchi, Maulana Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, leader of Tijjaniya Islamic sect, Imam Ibrahim Idris of JIBWIS, Sheikh Salisu Suleiman Ningi, Sheikh Idris Ibn Abdulaziz of Dutsen Tanshi Mosque, the spiritual leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN), Bauchi state chapter, Malam Ahmed Yashi and Reverend Joshua Ray Maina, Chairman Christians Association of Nigeria (CAN), Bauchi state chapter”, he explained.

 

He said SABSO was established with the objective of giving charity and assistance to the less privileged, adding that they had recently donated 200 exercise books to selected primary schools in Dass local government council  and emergency kits, such as examination gloves, bandages, syringes and needles to Ambara general hospital in Shira local government areas of the state.

 

‘’God willing, SABSO will always keep the ball rolling on its humanitarian activities across Bauchi state’’, he promised.
