Gov Sule to patronise ex-servicemen for effective service delivery

 

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state Thursday said his administration will continue to patronise the services of the ex-servicemen in the state for effective service delivery.

He stated this during the Armed Forces Remembrance and Emblem appealed in Lafia, the Nasarawa state capital.

Sule also donated five million naira to the legionian and  urged ministries and agencies in the state to engage the services of ex-servicemen in areas of effective delivery.

” I urged all government ministries and agencies, as well as non governmental organizations to patronise the services of members of the Nigerian legion by engaging them in productive ventures.

“On our part, I assure you all that government will continue to provide for the welfare of members of the Legion within available resources.”

He commended the members of Nigeria Legion for their steadfastness, perseverance, self-discipline and partnership with government, urging them to sustain their support for the policies and programmes of his administration.

He said Nigerians must unite irrespective of their political, tribal social and religious affiliations, and hence the need for all hands to be on deck to ensure its success.
