Nasarawa: Sule assures corps members of improved welfare, security

Nasarawa state governor Engr. Abdullahi Sule, has assured corps members posted to the state of improved welfare and security.

Sule stated this when he visited Magaji Danyamusa NYSC permanent orientation camp, Keffi during the closing ceremony of Batch A Stream 2 sets.

Declaring the orientation closed, he congratulated the corps members for completing their three-week orientation course.

The governor urged them to accept their posting in good faith to enable them contribute their quota to the development of the Nasarawa state and the country as a whole just as he directed all government agencies, ministries among others to accept all corps members posted to serve in their respective organizations.

Governor Sule told the corp members their service is not just a chapter in their lives but it is a testament to the shared commitment they hold towards building a stronger and more united nation, just as he commended the dedication, passion and unwavering spirit to the service of their father land.

Earlier, Nasarawa state coordinator of the scheme, Abdullahi Ahmad Jikamshi, said the orientation course is the first cardinal programmes of the scheme, aimed at preparing the corps members for the challenges of the service year.

Jikamshi appreciated the support received from the state governmemt under the leadership of Governor Sule, for providing enabling environment for corps members and staff which has impacted possitively in the affair of scheme.
He implored the corps members to shun vices capable of tarnishing their image and that of the scheme.
