God is faith that has called you. There is no problem that He cannot solve. Are you oppressed, possessed or afflicted? You must watch your belief system. God says He is our healer in, ‘Cast all your anxieties on him for he cares about you.’ (1 Peter 5:7) Please note this in your heart, God desires that you put all your trust on him. David trusted God 100%! ‘Those who trust in the lord are like mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever’. (Psalm 125:1).
God is bigger than whatever your problem is, He can turn your problems around into a ladder or a stepping-stone towards a greater height. God is a promise keeper. Sarah waited unto the Lord in faith and God kept His promise to her and she became the mother of Israel at the ripe old age of ninety!
During your trials do not defile yourself, wait patiently unto the Lord in faith. ‘But Daniel purposed in his heart that he will not defile himself with the portion of the kings meat nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of eunuchs that he might not defile himself. Now God had brought Daniel into favour and tender love with the prince of eunuchs’ (Daniel 1:9-10).
Listen to God, ‘I will go before thee and make the crooked places straight, l will break in pieces the gate of brass and cut asunder, the bars of iron’. (Isaiah 45:2). God will never disappoint those who trust in Him. Wait patiently unto God in faith.
A couple that fellowships with us recently had triplets after ten years of marriage. During their waiting period, their faith and love of God was so manifest for all to see. They never wavered, after each prayer and fellowship session, thy exuded joy and hope, they were always happy! Not once did they complain or agonize because they truly trusted God and He did not fail them. The husband also got a major promotion at work just before the birth of the triplets.
‘And I will give you the treasures of darkness, and the hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that it is I, the Lord, the God of the righteous people who call you by your name, the God of Israel’. (Isaiah 45:3)
God has his own chosen people. There is no other god than this our God that never fails. The stronghold of your enemies should not be seen as obstacles to your progress, you will outlive your enemies and all you problems. Fear is the trick of your enemies. ‘Fear not for I am with you, be not afraid or damaged for I am your God, I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand’. (Isaiah 41:10).
If you look at the book of Judges, 11:1-3, Jephthah the Gileadite was a mighty worker, but he was the son of a harlot and because of that they said that he could not share in the inheritance of his father. They called him the son of a strange woman, Jephtah ran away and dwelled in another city where he prospered. After a while, his people who had marginalized him came back to look for him to help them recover their lands with a promise that he would rule over them!
Never be discouraged, no matter your circumstance, there is always hope in God. If like Jephthah you lose all, have faith in God because he has the powr to raise you up again and lift you higher than previously. Remember this always, you are not a failure, you can start again like Jephtah who started afresh in another city. The same man whose family and friends had rejected, was later sought out to rule over them. He never lost focus, he had faith in God. They brought him back as a celebrity.
‘There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee nor forsake thee”. (Joshua 1:5)
The battle is the Lords’ and not yours. God told Joshua that “Have I not commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed; for the Lord thy God is with thee where ever thou goes’. (Joshua 1:9) May this be your portion in Jesus name.
You may have been waiting on God concerning the gift of a life partner, children, healing breakthrough or some other blessings. Do not fear or despair and do not be discouraged. Delay is not denial. You may have been told your condition is hopeless, it is not about what man thinks but what God says. Absolute faith in the word of God will lift you high above your situation.
Think with faith, speak with faith and act with faith. ‘Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; for He is faithful that promised’. (Hebrews 10:23) ‘Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.’ (Romans 10:17), for faith to be effective, it must be anchored on the word of God. Remain steadfast in God.
Once more, there are so many things that bring about fear in a person’s life, it could be sickness, poverty, frustration or barrenness. When you have the word of God in side of you, you need not fear. Beloved, do not be afraid of people’s reaction towards you when you are faced with challenges. Take your stand with God and do not be intimidated by your challenges. When David for was faced with the intimidation of Goliath, he trusted God, he trusted the God who had given him victory in his previous encounters with the lion and bear.
God expects us to depend on him as our all in all, he has given us the spirit of boldness and a sound mind so that we are not deceived, intimidated or cajoled. Many through fear have lost what belongs to them, have faith in the lord, be unshakable.
Its early run said, we acknowledged the declaration of the children of God who knew their God. Daniel 3:16-18 please read the text again, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were unshaken in their heart that God, shall never fail. Their absolute trust in God, gave them victory. Ps 118:6 says “the Lord is on my side, I will not fear what can man do unto me?” Beloved, you are above all your situation in Jesus Name. Amen.
Only the world of God is the true word of life. He alone offers lasting satisfaction and a life that never fails.
