Fuel scarcity: Nigerians are fed up – CSF

Coalition of Civil Societies Forum (CSF), has said the lingering fuel scarcity in the country has drawn the patience of Nigerians to the last limit.
Speaking to newsmen in Kano yesterday, spokesman of the coalition, Alhaji Mustapha Muhammad Yahaya, said it was high time for the President Muhammadu Buhari to relinquish his post as Minister of Petroleum Resources in the face of myriad of problems he is grappling with as the nation’s president, adding that there was the compelling need for him to take punitive action against those sabotaging his government.
He said pointing accusing fingers at those sabotaging the economy was not enough to convince Nigerians on the predicament, stressing that taking decisive action to address the current rot in the oil sector was the only way out of the mess.
Yahaya stated that the down trodden masses had suffered enough as a result of the increase in the pump price of petrol, warning that the civil society organisations would be forced to protest on the streets if the fuel rot is not addressed.
