FIFA Ranking: Super Eagles retain 31st spot in the world

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have remained unchanged in the FIFA/Coca-Cola world latest rankings as football activities remain in comatose due to the current COVID-19 ravaging the entire globe as virtually all the teams remain in their previous position.

According to an update on FIFA website on Thursday, the Super Eagles retained their 31st position in world and third in Africa.
The Terangha Lions of Senegal remained at the summit of African football and are followed by Tunisia. Algeria and Morocco occupy fourth and fifth positions in the continent respectively.
Meanwhile, there are no changes in the top five teams in the world with Belgium still in number one position.

World champions France , Brazil , England and Uruguay completed the list.
The ranking was only impacted by four friendly matches while international fixtures, including qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup and other major tournaments were postponed.
The next FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking will be published on 11 June 2020.
