The Management of Federal Housing Authority (FHA) has said it will commence regularization of property documents of some of its allottees in Lagos state and the Federal Capital Territory.
According to a statement on Friday, signed by the Management, the FHA advised the affected persons to visit its office in Lagos Abuja to sort out issues.
The statement read: “The Management of Federal Housing Authority will commence regularization of property documents of some of its allottees in Lagos state and the Federal Capital Territory.
“The exercise is to afford allottees in FHA estates in these zones who built without approval, carried out development outside the granted approval, engaged in unapproved land annexation, alteration of prototype houses, deviation from approved building plans, unapproved mergers and subdivision, the opportunity to regularize their property documents.
“The affected estates in Lagos state are: Festac Town, Gowon estate, Isheri Olofin 1, Isheri Olofin 2, Satellite 2 Navy Town, Satellite 6, Egan A, Egan B, Egan ADB, Egan E, Egan F, Esuti (Right side), Esuti (Left side) Abesan 1,2, 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10A, 10 B,11,12 and 13.
“The estates affected in Abuja are: Gwarinpa, Lugbe, Kubwa, Maitama, Asokoro, Karu and Apo/ Guzape.
“The affected persons in Lagos are to visit the office of the Zonal Manager, FHA South West Zone, 211 Road, Festac Town Lagos, while those in Abuja are to visit the office of the Executive Director, Estate services at the Head Office, 26 Julius Nyerere Crescent, Asokoro Abuja Federal Capital Territory.
“The Management would commence enforcement to comply with the Authority’s building regulations at the expiration of the notices contained in the radio announcements it has placed.”
