FG seeks stakeholders’ collaboration to boost Nigeria’s dairy sector  

The Minister of Livestock Development, Idi Maiha, Wednesday, called for increased collaboration with stakeholders to advance Nigeria’s dairy sector and ensure its prosperity for future generations.

The director, Information and Public Relations Department, Ben Goong, stated this in a statement during a courtesy visit by a delegation from Inter-Heritage Promotions Limited in Abuja.

Maiha highlighted Nigeria’s conducive market conditions for economic growth and development, reiterating the ministry’s readiness to build capacity and foster partnerships with stakeholders passionate about transforming the dairy industry.

He lauded the firm’s partnership with Sweden, stressing the need for more cooperation to drive advancements, particularly in supporting the federal government’s school feeding program. 

In his remarks, the managing director and chief executive officer of Inter-Heritage Promotions Limited, Patrick Usen, spoke on the significance of the bilateral cooperation between Nigeria and Sweden on the dairy value chain. 

“It is a chance to learn from each other, exchange ideas, and reinforce our commitment to building a resilient and prosperous dairy sector for future generations,” Usen stated.
