The federal government has announced the appointment of Mr. Ishaq Modibbo Kawu as the Director-General, Nigerian Broadcasting Commission (NBC), Mr. Osita Okechukwu – Director-General, Voice of Nigeria (VON) and Mr. Bayo Onanuga as Managing Director, News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
Others are Mr. Mansur Liman as Director-General, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), Mr. Yakubu Mohammed as Director-General, Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Dr. Garba Abari, Director-General, National Orientation Agency (NOA).
In a statement issued in Abuja yesterday by the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, said the new appointees replace the Chief Executives of the parastatal who were disengaged on February 15, 2016.
The statement added that the appointments take immediate effect.
