Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa matriculates 15, 000 students

Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa has matriculated 15, 000 students for National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND) and Part Time programmes for the 2024/2025 academic session.

Acting Rector of the institution Dr. Hauwa Muhammad presided over the 41st matriculation ceremony held at the institution in Nasarawa local government area of Nasarawa state on Saturday.

Muhammad said the students had been found qualified to commence academic programmes into the ND or HND programmes for the 2024/2025 academic session hence their admission and matriculation.

“We welcome you all to this peaceful community where we mould students in both learning and character. I therefore urged you all to be very serious with your studies,” she said.

She urged the students to be law abiding students so that the existing peaceful atmosphere conducive for teaching and learning will be upheld.

The Reactor equally cautioned them against any act of examination malpractice, adding that anyone caught will be dealt with decisively by the school management.

Muhammad also warned them against engaging in any form of social vices and drug abuse.

She also cautioned them to desist from any form of cult activity and ensure they maintain peaceful coexistence among themselves.

Muhammad added that the institution management under her leadership will continue to improve teaching, research and learning.
