Federal College of Education Yaba celebrates 25 years

The Federal College of Education (Technical) Staff School, Akoka- Yaba, Lagos,  Monday commenced its 25-year anniversary and celebration of academic excellence  with over  332 pupils.

The celebration commenced Monday with rally by students and teachers of the school in the school premises.

Speaking at a press briefing at the Federal College Education Board Conference, the Provost, Dr. Wahab Ademola Azeez, said the journey of 25 year has been one of the dedication, resilience and a a commitment to excellence.

He said the mission of the school is that of holistic education, highly skilled and committed staff as well as international award winning school.

 “Our graduates are spread all over the world. It is with immense joy and pride that I stand before you today as we gather to celebrate a significant milestone in the history of our beloved institution FCE ( Technical).

“Over the years, we have overcome challenges, celebrated triumph and evolved into an educational institution that has a testament to the collective effort of our dedicated educator, staff, students and supportive community including the state and federal government .

“Our graduates are spread all over the world. As we reflect on our journey, let us not only celebrate the achievement of the past but look forward to the promising futures that lie ahead.

“Today, let us not only revel in the joy of 25 years but also renew our commitment to providing quality education, fostering a nurturing and preparing our students for the challenges and opportunity that lie ahead,” the provost said.

He appreciated  the support received from  the college, staff, study as well as the parents  for their contribution that shape the identify of FCE(Technical) and making it a beacon of knowledge, inspiration and community spirit.
