Youth restiveness: Ministries to partner against arms proliferation

Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Barrister Solomon Dalung has noted poverty as a common problem facing the average Nigerian, stressing that to get rid of this youth development must be highly considered.

Barr. Dalung who was speaking when Unipeace Corp and the Innoson group of companies paid a courtesy visit on his office, charged well-meaning Nigerians to invest in youth development, as failure to do so is like preparing criminals for the future.
According to him, the absence of credible leadership to drive and exploit national resources has led the country into the present situation where many find it difficult to put food on their tables, despite the fact that God blessed Nigeria with everything.
He enjoined well to do Nigerians to join hands with the ministry to develop the youth by engaging them in vocational training, youth empowerment and business orientation.
“The society that does not invest in youth development should prepare to build more Maximum security prisons because; failure to develop the youth is like preparing criminals for the future,” he stressed.
Barrister Dalung commended Innoson Group of Companies Limited for their patriotism and strong belief that Nigeria can survive, through their laudable initiative of made in Nigeria Vehicles which he said is in line with the policy of the present administration of President Mohammudu Buhari, while promising to partner with them in areas of youth training.

The Minister charged citizens to emulate Dubai by diversifying into tourism, noting that Dubai in 1972 was a desert but today of the best cities in the world that attract people through tourist attraction from all over the World.
“Nigerians too should use tourism as a vehicle of economic development which will attract people across the globe to be trooping to Nigeria for investments,” he urged.
Earlier, the President of Unipeace Corp Mr. Ezechukwu Enwere, commended the Minister’s humility, selfless effort and for being a worthy role model to Nigerian Youth.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of Innoson Group of Company in his speech said, Innoson Vehicles was the first indigenous and leading vehicles manufacturing Company in Nigeria.
According to him, their vision is to eradicate Foreign used automobiles from Africa, which is being achieved through the manufacturing of durable and affordable brand new Vehicles for Africans.
He was in the ministry to present various ranges of Nigeria locally Manufactured vehicles.
