FC Porto forward Chidera Eze will be sidelined for at least two weeks after he suffered a hamstring injury during a 2015 AYC qualifier against Tanzania at the weekend.
Eze was a second half substitute and even scored, but he will suffer a recurrence of a hamstring that stopped him from making the trip to Tanzania.
“Eze could be out for about two weeks if he takes a complete rest as that is what such an injury requires,” said Flying Eagles team doctor Ozi Salami.
The Flying Eagles are due to resume training camp next month ahead of a final qualifier against Lesotho.
