Export week: NEPC to embark on renewed partnerships at national, sub-national levels 

The Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) is set to embark on a massive sensitization and renewed partnerships with the private and public sectors, not just at the national level but also at the sub-national level to create more awareness for Nigerians to step into the reality that the only way to guarantee our economic survival is through non-oil export. 

Executive Director/CEO, Dr Ezra Yakusak while briefing Newsmen at the weekend on the Forth-coming Export week in Abuja said  other activities are the launch of “Export4Survival” Campaign by the Honourable Minister, Federal Ministry of Industry Trade and investment.

According to him, the ultimate goal is to ensure that the events that have been lined up will become an avenue for massive recruitment of people into the non-oil export net. 

He further said a symposium  which is scheduled to hold from November 21 – 26, 2022, themed “Strengthening the Non-Oil Export Sector for National Development”, an Export Inclusiveness Day for Women and Youth, the Export4Survival Walk among others . 

He also noted that one of the key objectives of the Export Week is to highlight the significance of exporting to the country’s economy by strengthening and deepening interactions and partnerships with relevant stakeholders in the public and private sector.

“We envisage that the Export Week will provide a path for business and sector led activities to thrive as well as help entrepreneurs particularly SMEs look out for new opportunities in the sector.
