Prince Mudiaga Eruophe, chairman of Mudi Energy Services Nigeria Limited, has been conferred with an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Engineering Management by Highstone Global University,Texas, USA.
The event took place Wednesday at the 2024 International Conference, Special Convocation, Awards Ceremony, and Conferment of Honorary Doctorate Degree organised in Asaba, Delta state.
Addressing journalists at the event, Eruophe said the honour was in recognition of efforts towards knowledge acquisition and relentless commitment to addressing energy-related issues in Africa.
He said the award will promote international cooperation and knowledge sharing by collaborating with international organisations and countries to share knowledge, expertise and build capacity and skills in the energy sector to ensure best practices.
Eruophe’s unwavering dedication to excellence, coupled with his vision for local empowerment, marks him as an exceptional leader and role model.
The vice chancellor of Highstone Global University (Africa), Prof. Valentine Iheukwumere, who presented the award to Eruophe, said the increasing presence of foreign universities in Nigeria highlights the nation’s educational challenges and presents an opportunity to address systemic shortcomings.
