Emir of Lafia, a role model – Agabi

Alhaji Yusuf Muhammad Agabi has described the Emir of Lafia, Alhaji Isah Mustapha Agwai I, as “a role model” in terms of perseverance and patience in his leadership style.

Speaking to newsmen in Lafia on the preparation of the 40th anniversary celebration of the emir, Agabi said Nasarawa “is witnessing so many developments and progresses courtesy of the emir, especially in the area of peace and peaceful coexistence.”
Agabi added that people would ever remember the emir for his foresight, tolerance and commitment towards ensuring peace amongst different religions in Nasarawa state.

He said that wise, competent and diligent leadership of the emir has made the state so privileged in ensuring that the state benefited from a wide range his fatherly advice and development strides.
He said: “The emir’s style has endeared to some people who has given the state a good image outside. His 40years on the throne has given the state opportunity for developments because of his unrelenting effort in ensuring the state is not left behind.
