The Oyo state Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Joshua Oluwafemi Adekanye, on Friday said the Command had deployed over 1, 800 personnel for this year’s Eid el-Kabir celebration.
Adekanye, who disclosed this in a statement, said also deployed by the Command were 22 operational vehicles, two state-of-the-art ambulances, a heavy duty tow-truck and motor bikes for safe travels during this period spanning from Monday 26 June to 1 July, 2023.
He said adequate personnel and logistics had been deployed to sustain the Corps’ visibility on major roads in the state to ensure free flow of traffic, reduction in road traffic crashes, injuries and fatalities.
