The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) yesterday questioned a former governor of Kebbi state, Usman Saidu Dakingari, over alleged corruption.
Blueprint gathered that Dakingari, who arrived the headquarters of the anti-graft agency in Wuse 11, Abuja, at about 10 am was drilled by EFCC operatives over allegations of misappropriation of funds during his tenure as governor of the state.

It is uncertain whether the former governor had been released from the commission as he was still in their custody as at the time of going to press.
It would be recalled that the commission had also quizzed the wife of the embattled governor and daughter of the former President Umaru Yar’ Adua, Zainab Dakingari, over alleged fraud to the tune of N2 billion reportedly perpetrated during her husband’s tenure as governor.
The anti-graft agency was said to have questioned her on the source of the steady stream of huge cash into her companies, while she held sway as ‘first lady’ of Kebbi state.
