Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi state Tuesday approved the appointment of Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
The new SSG is Dr Kenneth Ugbala, the immediate past Commissioner of internal Security and Boarder Peace.
Ugbala who is from Ezza clan would be replacing Dr Hygieneus Nwokwo from the same clan. He is to be sworn in on Wednesday .
The information though unconfirmed further read, “His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Ebonyi state has approved the appointment and swearing of the following people on Wednesday, 19th June, 2019 by 12noon at the Exco Chamber: Hon. Clement Nweke (Principal Secretary)

3. Dr. Kenneth Ugballa (SSG)
4. Barr. Joseph Ekummanka (SSA Abuja liaison office)
5. Saint Nchekwube Anako (SA on Security & Utility – Capital city)
6. Benedict Nworie (SA on Security & Utility – Ebonyi North zone)
7. Nwoba Onyekachi (SA on Security & Utility – Ebonyi Central zone)
8. Chika Nwangele (SA on Security & Utility – Ebonyi South zone)”
