He appealed to the motoring public to abide by the FCT traffic laws, more especially, Keke and Okada operators, to be restricted in the areas permitted to conduct their business.

He said  the command would begin enforcement very soon to track down violators even as  he warned commercial drivers to use Abuja colour to enable VIO officers  identify one chance syndicates and other criminal elements.

The area commander stated that last week, he held meeting with NURTW and leaders of Okada and park operators intimating them on  the need to operate in a single park in the Lokogoma road to allow free flow of traffic.

Osim revealed that the command under his watch would not fold its arms to allow violation of traffic rules and regulations even as he warned against wrong parking and use of rickety vehicles along the road in the area.
